These 3 songs were recorded, live (apart from additional harmonium), on one day in early September 2021, at the remote and beautiful Sound of Jura Studio in the Southern Hebrides in Scotland
The songs were written and inspired by the ancient sites and archaeology on Islay and at Roman Silchester in Hampshire, where Sarah works for the University of Reading Archaeology field schools.

Written on this late glacial and Mesolithic archaeological site: Rubha Port an-t Sielich, on Islay, in the Western Hebrides, by Sarah and archaeologist Will Attard, evoking how it was to be one of the ice-age hunter-gatherers that used the camp; arriving on skin boats, telling stories, making tools and cooking on the campfire, observed by the seals in the bay.
